King Theatre Company is thrilled to return to Pine Farms Orchard for our third annual outdoor production, staged on the farm’s beautiful front porch, with The Pavilion.
Peter returns to his twenty-year high school reunion determined to win back Kari—the girl he left behind after an unexpected pregnancy changed the course of their lives.
But standing in his way is Kari’s bitter-as-ever resentment, her husband, and the uncomfortable truth that Peter may not have grown up at all.
As the evening unfolds, the pair are swept into a whirlwind of encounters with former classmates—each brought vividly to life by a virtuosic Narrator who seamlessly transforms into a host of colourful, comedic characters.
Old wounds resurface and long-buried memories come rushing back, and Peter and Kari are forced to confront the choices that shaped their lives.
Funny, heartfelt, and deeply human, The Pavilion—hailed by critics as “an Our Town for our time”—is a moving exploration of time, love, and the enduring power of memory.

Admission begins at 6:15 for seating, food, and drinks. All performances begin promptly at 7:00 PM. Performance runtime is approximately 90 minutes with no intermission.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
Mother nature is the boss! In the event of inclement weather performances are subject to cancellation. Ticket holders will be contacted to exchange their tickets to another date of their choosing, or will be given the option for a refund. In the event that there is a performance cancelled towards the end of the run, the producer may opt to open up additional performances the following week. In the event of a light drizzle rain tents will be put up over the audience seating, and performances will proceed as scheduled. You will be contacted via email if a performance is cancelled.
WHAT TIME CAN I GET THERE?
Admission for seating, food, and drinks begins at 6:15 PM. The show begins promptly at 7:00 PM. We kindly ask that you do not arrive earlier than 6:15 PM as we need the time and space to set up our stage and mic check our performers.
IS THIS SHOW OUTDOORS?
Yes! We transform Pine Farms Orchard's gorgeous farm house front porch into our playing space. Please dress appropriately for the weather! Bug spray and cozy blankets are encouraged.
CAN I PURCHASE FOOD AND DRINKS AT THE SHOW?
Yes! Pine Farms has an amazing selection of food and treats for purchase at the show! Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available. Please note that the interior restaurant will be closed.
CAN I RESERVE SEATING IN ADVANCE?
Our seating is general admission only. Reserved seating is only available for our show sponsors, without whom, our productions would not be possible. CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Pets are not allowed in order to ensure the safety of our performers and other patrons. Registered service animals are welcome. It is helpful if you let us know in advance.
