Camp Structure

Over the course of ten engaging sessions, children will develop their singing, dancing, and acting skills while building confidence and essential performance techniques. Together, they’ll bring an officially licensed musical to life in a memorable final performance.

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know one another and understanding the importance of ensemble work. Together, we’ll begin learning a group number in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Roles will be assigned based on participation and enthusiasm during this session—no formal auditions required, making the process fun and stress-free. Children will learn a group song and dance, and will perform in small groups for the instructors. They will also perform a short scene in pairs for the class. Every child will have the opportunity to shine in their own unique role.

Throughout the remaining sessions, the group will work together to bring the show to life. We’ll celebrate every child’s creativity and progress.

While this program does run similarly to our semester-based programming, children will also be spending time outdoors at the on-site park and green space*, and playing more traditional camp games as well!

​

Our program culminates in a special performance for friends and family during our final session.

*Please note that while the park is on-site, it is open to the public. Children will never be unsupervised.
