Back by popular demand, King Theatre Company remounts its critically acclaimed A Christmas Carol this December at Schomberg Community Hall—a beloved holiday tradition for audiences around the world brought to you in the GTA! Gather your loved ones and revisit this timeless classic each Christmas season.

When Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, he is swept into a powerful journey of reflection and redemption—one that promises to warm even the coldest of hearts.

This swift 70-minute adaptation draws directly from Dickens’ original novella, blending timeless storytelling with beloved Christmas carols, and plenty of heart and humour.

A dynamic ensemble brings dozens of characters to life with creativity and theatrical flair, creating a vivid, ever-shifting world that places audiences at the heart of the action, surrounded by the magic, music, and spirit of the season.

A Christmas Carol is a joyful celebration of community, compassion, and the enduring power of coming together to share a story we all know and love.

Suitable for all ages, this year’s remount welcomes back familiar faces alongside exciting new touches, including newly introduced raked seating at Schomberg Community Hall. We invite you to join us again!

A CHRISTMAS CAROL

"There is an undeniable cozy comfort in the ritual of gathering together to hear a familiar story. King Theatre Company’s intimate production of A Christmas Carol understands this completely – and delivers it in spades. Presented at Schomberg Community Hall, Jacqueline Goldfinger’s streamlined adaptation offers a warm, thoughtfully crafted take on Charles Dickens’ perennially popular ghost story — one that feels especially attuned to the community gathered to see it."
